Looks like the hit comedy Book Club is gearing up to bring fans another installment.
There’s no denying Paramount’s Book Club made a splash at the box office when it premiered last May.
In fact, the hit comedy about four life long friends who’s lives are changed after reading E.L James’s 50 Shades of Grey as part of their monthly bookclub, was so successful it looks like there’s already talks of a sequel.
It was actress Mary Steenburgen who stars in the hit comedy alongside Diane Keaton, Jane Fonda, and Candice Bergen, who spilled the beans about the possibility of a Book Club 2 during an appearance on Andy Cohen’s Sirius XMM show Radio Andy.
Steenburgen let word of the sequel slip after Cohen brought up a cute photo the actress had posted to her Instagram where she, Fonda, Bergen, and Keaton had all reunited at Keaton’s house.
“I love them,” Steenburgen told Cohen of her co-stars on Wednesday (June 12). “And I guess we’re doing Book Club 2 because the film was incredibly successful. It made so much money.
