Jonathan Majors is out for revenge against Idris Elba in the first trailer for The Harder They Fall— check it out for yourselves below!
Coming up next, Netflix is gearing up to serve up a Western like you’ve never experienced.
In The Harder They Fall, Majors plays an outlaw named Nat Love who, upon discovering that Rufus Black (the man who killed his parents 20 years ago) is being released from prison, decides to round up his old gang in an effort to track the man down and get revenge.
Joining Love in seeking out Black (Elba) are his former love, Stagecoach Mary (Zazie Beetz), his right and left hand men— hot-tempered Bill Pickett (Edi Gathegi) and fast drawing Jim Beckwourth (R.J. Cyler)— and a surprising adversary-turned-ally.

But Nat Love isn’t the only one with a fearsome crew at his disposal— Rufus Black’s also made quick work of rounding up a dangerous crew of his own. Joining the newly freed convict are “Treacherous” Trudy Smith (Regina King) and Cherokee Bill (Lakeith Stanfield). Safe to say the showdown between the two gangs will be nothing short of epic.
