An anime series based off of Pacific Rim is coming soon to Netflix— and you can watch the first trailer for the series right now!
Netflix is about to breathe new life into Guillermo del Toro’s hit action franchise, Pacific Rim.
On Friday (February 5), the online streaming giant took to the internet to share a brand new teaser trailer for an upcoming anime series based off of the blockbuster action flicks.
In Pacific Rim: The Black, viewers will be able to follow along as the tale of the epic battles between monsters and robots continues on.
The series picks back up long after the time when Kaiju rose from the Pacific Rim only to encounter gigantic robots, Jaegers, built to fight them back.
Now, Australia has been overrun by Kaiju, forcing the evacuation of an entire continent. Left behind, teenage siblings Taylor and Hayley embark on a desperate search for their missing parents, teaching themselves to pilot a battered, long-abandoned Jaeger to help in their quest and give them even the slightest hope of surviving.
