Liam Hemsworth is trying to survive in the ‘Most Dangerous Game’ trailer

Quibi’s Most Dangerous Game trailer features Liam Hemsworth trapped in a game that could cost him his life — or make him immeasurably wealthy.

The movie takes its name and main idea from the popular and oft-adapted Richard Connell short story of the same name, but updated for modern times.

The Most Dangerous Game stars Liam Hemsworth as Dodge Tynes, a man desperate to take care of his pregnant wife before a terminal illness can take his life. To do so, Dodge accepts an offer from eccentric billionaire Miles Seller, played by Christoph Waltz, to participate in a deadly game where he’s the prey.

The series hails from Scorpion creator Nick Santora, Gordon Gray, Silver Reel Pictures and CBS Television Studios, and explores the limits of how far someone would go to fight for their life and their family.

In addition to Liam Hemsworth and Christoph Waltz, the cast of Most Dangerous Game also includes Sarah Gadon, Zach Cherry, Aaron Poole, Christopher Webster, Billy Burke and Natasha Bordizzo.

Quibi will launch on April 6, 2020, with the first episode of Most Dangerous Game available upon its debut. As with all the rest of Quibi’s TV shows and feature films, Most Dangerous Game will be released in “bite-sized” chapters of 10 minutes or less and is made to watch on your phone. The chapters will be released everyday until the show is complete.

Quibi will have two different cost structures — $4.99 per month with ads, and $7.99 with no ads. In addition to Most Dangerous Game, the streaming service also recently released a full trailer for Sophie Turner’s Survive, and will launch with Kiefer Sutherland’s The Fugitive, Will Forte’s Flipped, Idris Elba’s Elba vs Block, a revival of Punk’d hosted by Chance the Rapper, and a talk show featuring Demi Lovato.
