Happy start of term to us! All eight Harry Potter movies are coming back to theaters.
Throughout the month of September, AMC and Cinemark are bringing every single Harry Potter movie back to the big screen. This’ll be a great opportunity to re-experience our favorite scenes in their full-size glory. It’s been so long since we’ve had the opportunity!
The fun started on August 31 at Cinemark theaters — their marathon (which includes the first Fantastic Beasts movie) runs through September 6 with tickets at $5 a pop. Festival passes, which gave fans access to every movie, were available but quickly sold out. That’s incredible!
Beginning September 2, AMC will show the first two movies directed by Chris Columbus. The following three Sundays of the month will each play host to two of the remaining films.
AMC theaters across the United States are participating in the fun. Wonderfully, tickets appear to only cost $5 per person, per film. Here’s the schedule:
September 2
– Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone @ 2pm
– Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets @ 6pm
September 9
– Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban @ 2pm
– Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire @ 6pm
September 16
– Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix @ 2pm
– Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince @ 6pm
September 23
– Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 1 @ 2pm
– Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 2 @ 6pm
Meanwhile, Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald hits theaters this November. Like these eight Harry Potter movies, it’ll be bringing us back to Hogwarts.
It’s a great time to be a Harry Potter fan!
