A new international trailer for Disney’s The Lion King offers fans a taste of Beyoncé and Donald Glover singing in character — watch it below!
Just last month, Disney offered fans a glimpse of Beyoncé’s role in the upcoming CGI remake of The Lion King.
As cool as it was to hear Queen Bey in action as Nala, there’s no denying that many are counting down the days until we can hear the Formation singer belt out one of The Lion King’s most iconic songs.
Thanks to a new international trailer for the film, we’re finally getting a taste of what Beyoncé and Simba himself, Donald Glover, will sound like when they perform the film’s iconic duet together.
The short teaser features Beyoncé and Glover harmonizing on the chorus of a melodically stripped back rendition of “Can You Feel The Love Tonight.”
We can’t be the only ones looking forward to getting our hands on the soundtrack after listening to Beyoncé and Donald Glover’s duet!

While the dulcet tones of Beyoncé might be the most exciting part of the clip, the international teaser also offers up a glimpse of some scenes we haven’t seen before.
Dispersed amongst the singing is a voiceover from none other than James Earl Jones, who is returning to reprise his role as Simba’s father, Mufasa.
Though, visually, the teaser showcases some shots of other characters, the clip focuses on Mufasa offering up some words of wisdom to his young son.
“Look at the stars. The great kings look down on us from those stars. And so will I,” says Jones just before the clip wraps up.
Disney’s The Lion King hits theaters on July 19 in the U.S., and on July 18 overseas.
