Tom Holland is sticking with Apple TV+ for his next project. Here’s what you can expect from The Crowded Room.
On Thursday (April 8), Apple announced that it has ordered a brand new seasonal anthology series titled The Crowded Room.
The forthcoming anthology series, co-produced by Apple Studios and New Regency, hails from Oscar winner Akiva Goldsman (A Beautiful Mind) who will serve as writer and executive producer on the project.
Per the series’ official longline, The Crowded Room is set to explore the true and inspirational stories of those who have struggled and learned to successfully live with mental illness.

The first season of the forthcoming anthology series will be comprised of 10 episodes in total and is set to be inspired by Daniel Keyes’ biography, The Minds of Billy Milligan.
Tom Holland has officially signed on to play Billy in the first season. Billy’s story is of particular interest because he’s the first person ever to be acquitted of a crime because of multiple personality disorder (now know. As dissociative identity disorder).
Holland’s involvement with the forthcoming anthology series marks the Spider-Man star’s second project with Apple Studios.
Apple has yet to reveal when we might expect to see the first season of The Crowded Room premiere via its streaming platform.
While we wait for word, Tom Holland fans can catch him starring in the fellow Apple Original, Cherry.
The action thriller, which is streaming now on Apple TV+, finds Holland playing a disenfranchised, unhinged young man from Ohio. Inspired by the best selling novel of the same name, the film follows the titular character as he meets the love of his life, Emily (Ciara Bravo), only to risk losing her through a series of bad decision and challenging life circumstances.
