Academy Award winners Anne Hathaway and Jared Leto are teaming up for a brand new limited series coming down the pipeline at Apple TV+.
On Friday (January 29), Apple TV+ announced that it has given a series order to a brand new limited series called WeCrashed, set to star Anne Hathaway and Jared Leto.
The forthcoming Apple original is based off of the hit podcast of the same name, which had already been previously in development at Apple Studios.
The series is set to focus on the rise and inevitable fall of WeWork— one of the world’s most valuable startups. In addition, the longline for the series also promises to profile the “narcissists whose chaotic love made it all possible.”
Behind the camera, WeCrashed hails from Good Boys) and Drew Crevello (The Long Dark) and Lee Eisenberg (Little America), who has an overall deal with Apple TV+. Both Eisenberg and Crevello will serve as co-writers, executive producers, and show runners on the forthcoming series.
Set to direct are John Requa and Glenn Ficarra (This Is Us).
In addition to starring in the limited series, Anne Hathaway and Jared Leto will also both serve as executive producers alongside Requa, Ficarra, Natalie SAndy, and Emma Ludbrook.
Currently, there’s no word on when we can expect to see WeCrashed debut via Apple TV+.
