America’s Got Talent is live again tonight at 9 PM ET/PT. Follow along with us as we discuss who goes on and who goes home!
Of the 12 acts that performed last night only four of them can go on to the semifinals. We’ll keep you updated as the night goes on.
Note: This will be updated with the ET airing. If the showing is later in your time zone, beware of spoilers.
After a recap of last night’s fireworks, the show begins.
Tim Hockenberry and Turf are called up to the stage. I predicted both of them would go through so I have no idea what’s going to happen. Maybe in a twist they’ll both go through.
Tim Hockenberry and Turf are advancing. Howie couldn’t be happier and was ready to bring back the one who would have gone home as his wildcard.
In his free time Howie decided to make a hidden camera skit. It was pretty ridiculous. Gavin DeGraw takes the stage to perform his new song “Sweeter.”
Lisa Clark Dancers, The All Ways, Aurora Light Dancers, and Big Barry take the stage. I think they’re all going home.
None of them are going on. Sharon isn’t surprised. If I was a betting man I’d bet on Howie bringing back Big Barry for the wildcard round.
Tom Cotter, Lion Dance Me, and Hawley Magic take the stage next. Tom Cotter is the easy choice of the night, much less this grouping.
Tom Cotter advances. Cotter says he’s blown away and he gets emotional. Sharon says she’s loved him from the beginning and that she called it.
The cast of Traces performs next.
Danielle Stallings, Donovan and Rebecca, and Ben Blaque remain for the final spot. One of them must be sent home automatically and the judges pick the final act. Ben Blaque goes home. The judges must pick between Donovan and Rebecca and Danielle Stallings, and it should be Donovan and Rebecca. Donovan and Rebecca cite their versatility as the reason they should stay, and Danielle Stallings says she has more to show.
Howard says they’re both great acts. He says Donovan and Rebecca have dazzled him three times in a row, and he says that Danielle is so good for being so young. Howard says it’s not Danielle’s time yet and picks Donovan and Rebecca. Sharon says this is the only stage for an act like Donovan and Rebecca and wants to encourage more acts like them and that Danielle is brave. She chooses Danielle in a moment of desperation. Howie likes Donovan and Rebecca’s originality and Danielle’s youthfulness, but in his toughest decision of the season he chooses Donovan and Rebecca who advance to the semifinals.
That’s it for AGT for this week!
