Jacob Williams, Chicago based stand-up comedian, promises that his act tonight will have his best jokes so far. His routine brought the audience to their feet. Sharon thinks that he’s awkward, but she likes him. Howard sees him having a career in comedy. Howard thinks either Williams or fellow comedian Tom Cotter could go all the way. Howie calls him the best act of the night, and that he thinks we will see him again.
Drag queen All Beef Patty took the stage next, and Howard doesn’t think she showed enough to move on. Howie agrees with Howard that she appeared more cabaret than Vegas. Sharon hopes people vote for her because she “lifted the show tonight.”
Escape artist Spencer Horsman‘s act promises to be one of the most dangerous to ever be on the show. The spikes that he hangs over are proven to be deadly. Sharon thinks the wiggling behind the screen is boring. Howard thinks the excitement was taken out of the act and that he failed. Howie noted that seeing Horsman’s elbow scraped seemed like a letdown after what the spikes could have done.
Lightwire Theater took the stage, and Howie said all his twitter followers were saying one thing – “Wow.” Sharon said they were spectacular. Howard says they left it all on the stage and it was a million dollar act.
Picks to advance: The Untouchables, Elusive, Jacob Williams, and Lightwire Theater
