A new deputy is heading to Teen Wolf season 3, and now we know the actor who will be portraying him!
We previously learned that a new character, Deputy Sheriff Parrish, would be joining Teen Wolf in the second half of the season. This is because, unfortunately, the former deputy, Tara Graham, was killed by the Darach in season 3, episode 9, “The Girl Who Knew Too Much.”
According to Deadline, Ryan Kelley will be the actor behind the new character. Kelley is best known for his roles in Mean Creek (2004), Letters from Iwo Jima (2006), and Prayers for Bobby (2009).
We still don’t know much about Deputy Parrish just yet, but we do know that he’s been described as “pretty young and very good-looking.”
Ominously, Deadline adds that, “He’ll assist Sheriff Stilinski (Linden Ashby) in uncovering the mysterious supernatural occurrences that plague the murder prone Northern California town before becoming part of the mystery himself.”
Does that mean that the sheriff may end up losing another deputy? Or could Parrish be more than he initially lets on, much like Jennifer Blake was in the first half of season 3?
We can hypothesize all we want, but we won’t be finding out until January 6, when Teen Wolf returns to our screens on Monday night at 10 p.m. on MTV.

Along with the deputy sheriff, we’ve also learned that a nogitsune will be heading to our screens, possibly in opposition of the kitsune, which seems to be the focus of season 3B so far.
On top of that, we’ll also be getting a sneak peek of a young Chris Argent, as well as a new kind of evil that may or may not be related to the nogitsune. Additionally, we’ll also be seeing a Yakuza warrior.
Lastly, don’t forget to check out our exclusive interview with Melissa Ponzio (Mama McCall). You can read her responses to questions about the second half of season 3, or listen to her entire audio interview on Not Another Teen Wolf Podcast.
