With an official name and a first look at the console, Microsoft’s Xbox Series X ushers in a new generation of console gaming.
Revealed at The Game Awards 2019, the Xbox Series X looks a bit like a subwoofer, or perhaps a PC tower. It’s the most mature and sleek an Xbox has ever looked, and it will pack the most power out of any Xbox console before it, including the Xbox One X.

With a smooth design on the sides, and a mesh vent with green lighting on the top, the Series X is quite the sexy little console. It will be at home in living rooms, with it standing out a lot less than previous iterations of Xbox consoles. For the first time, Microsoft has designed a console that is not only the most powerful version of their hardware, but also looks so simple.
