The cast of What We Do in the Shadows season 2 is expanding, excitingly adding Mark Hamill to the cast.
It’s always fun when What We Do in the Shadows adds guest stars to supplement its incredible cast (we’re still not over that vampire tribunal), and we’re extra excited about this one! Star Wars’ Mark Hamill will be guest starring on the hilarious vampire mockumentary series in season 2.

Hamill shared the exciting news on Twitter, saying “remember when I tweeted about a project I really, really, really, REALLY loved but it was under an NDA? Well, Jemaine Clement just let the bat out of the bag & announced I’ll soon be visiting my favorite undead family on @theshadowsfx! What Will I Do In The Shadows? #StayTuned.”

He also included the initial tweet, where he mentioned flying from an “undisclosed location” for the project back in December. It’s great that he’s just as thrilled about playing the part as we are about seeing it! We can’t wait to see what he does in the shadows.
FX on Hulu also recently announced that the premiere date for What We Do in the Shadows will be April 15, 2020, so we only have to wait a few more months to see Hamill in action.

We can’t wait to find out more about Nandor, Laszlo, Nadja, Colin Robinson, and Guillermo, especially since the latter just revealed his ties to Van Helsing. Whatever they get up to, we’re sure we’ll be laughing.
