WandaVision was slated to premiere in 2021 on Disney+, but the mega-streamer just announced the Marvel show will premiere this year.
Marvel fans, rejoice! It looks like we won’t have to wait until 2021 to check out the new Marvel show WandaVision on Disney+. According to the streamer itself, the show is set to premiere in 2020!
As Deadline reports, WandaVision will now be premiering alongside The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. Disney+ even confirmed the new premiere date on their official Twitter account.

WandaVision will feature Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany, reprising their big-screen roles as Wanda Maximoff and Vision. Kat Dennings, Randall Park, and Kathryn Hahn are also set to join the cast.
Of course, beyond who we can expect to see in the show, we don’t really know what is coming from the series itself. Just like any other Marvel property, the plot details have been kept under lock and key.
However, Marvel has made it clear that their Disney+ shows will all be integral to the MCU. So if you don’t keep up with the shows airing on the streamer, you won’t have all of the information you need going into the movies.
It is a bit of a daunting task, keeping up with so many shows just to prep for the films. However, Marvel has also assured fans that it will be more than worth it as they say WandaVision will be unlike anything fans have ever seen before.
And it makes sense. With the show’s bizarre, 1950s marketing paired with Vision’s fate in Infinity War, we know that Wanda is going to have to use her powers to do some serious reality-bending to make the adventures we’ll see in the show happen.
It is definitely going to be a show Marvel fans won’t want to miss, and the fact that we don’t have to wait until 2021 to check it out makes it that much better. An official release date for WandaVision hasn’t been released yet, but we’ll keep you posted as more information is released.
