AMC’s announced that The Walking Dead season 5 finale, set for this March, will run well over an hour.
The Walking Dead season 5, episode 16 will air Sunday, March 29 from 9 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. eastern, meaning the season finale will clock in at 90 minutes (or at least a solid 60 minutes if you take out the commercials). The Talking Dead begins immediately after.
Hopefully this means that the season finale will have lots of action which simply can’t fit into the usual hour. Don’t let us down, showrunners!
This past Sunday’s Walking Dead found Rick and company finally arriving at Alexandria after deciding to trust Aaron and his boyfriend Eric. A preview for the next episode shows that the group, who’ve been on the run for a while, will be shocked when they discover how peaceful Alexandria is. Even Carl looks like he can’t comprehend the idea of a home with clean walls:
Naturally, things aren’t going to remain peaceful for long. What kind of show would we have if everything was just okay?
