‘Supernatural’
Dean: “So even ghosts are online? … Oh yeah, sure Sammy, we’ll just kill the Internet. Wait, can we?”
When the brothers discover the spirit they are hunting is traveling over wi-fi, they realize they can’t just salt and burn it like usual. And no, Dean, you can’t kill the Internet.
‘Arrow’
Laurel: “I was crazy to think that I was fit to wear Sara’s jacket, so much as follow in her footsteps.”
Felicity: “You’re right. I hope I’m not out of line here. But, I think Sara wore her mask just as much to hide her demons as she did to help people. I don’t see that with you. You have a light inside of you that Sara never had, so maybe you should stop trying to be Sara and just be yourself.”
As Laurel struggles to find herself now that she has donned a costume of her own, Felicity offers her an inspiring pep talk, encouraging her to be her own person, not an imitation of her late sister. Ladies supporting ladies.
‘The 100’
Octavia: “Either you get up and we fight this, or you crawl away and die alone like a coward. It’s your choice.”
Octavia is taking to the Grounder lifestyle like she was born for it, and in this week’s episode, she seems to have completely reversed roles with Lincoln. As he lies at her feet claiming he can’t fight the Reaper serum, Octavia looks down at him in disgust and tells him, “Grounders don’t give up. We fight.” And tough love seems to be exactly what Lincoln needs, because when we next see him he’s standing tall next to his badass girlfriend.
‘Constantine’
John Constantine: “Be an angel, come over here and hold it for me, will ya?”
The name John Constantine is practically synonymous with lewd, rude, and downright crude, but he takes it to a whole other level when he literally tells an angel to come hold his junk while he takes a piss in an alley. You’re a brave soul, John.
