We’ve all watched the Jurassic Park films and wondered what it would be like to run our own park, and with the new Jurassic World: Evolution game, you finally have the chance to do just that.
Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom is headed to theaters on June 22, but we’ll get our own opportunity to travel to Isla Nubar for our own adventures a bit before that. The new game for Xbox One, PS4, and PC, Jurassic World: Evolution releases June 12, and will let you experience the universe from the franchise in a whole new way.

The trailer released for the game shows that you can not only build your own park and populate it with dinosaurs, but you can also engage in some experiments to create your own species of dinosaurs. Of course, if Jurassic World taught us anything, messing around with Mother Nature can have consequences.
This game is perfect for Jurassic Park and Jurassic World fans who have always been certain they could run a better park than the individuals in the film. The game is beautiful and the dinosaurs are so expertly crafted that you’ll feel you’ve been dropped right in the middle of one of the movies.
Frontier, the team behind Jurassic World: Evolution released a live play video that demonstrates how the park building works, dealing with disaster in a park filled with dinosaurs, and the ever-important part of running a park with giant carnivores: how to effectively run feeding time.
But more fun than learning the mechanics of the game, Frontier has also assured fans that they won’t experience Jurassic gaming alone. No, you’ll have the companionship of one Dr. Ian Malcolm, voiced by Jeff Goldblum himself.
This summer is shaping up to be the summer of dinosaurs with the game releasing mid-June and the Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom releasing late June. So be sure to brush up on all of your park management skills and maybe do a re-watch of the Jurassic Park and Jurassic World films to make sure you’re ready to open your own park when Jurassic World: Evolution releases this June!
