Have you ever wondered how the survivors in The Walking Dead would celebrate Christmas in the aftermath of the zombie apocalypse? Here’s one version of how it might go.
Does Rick still celebrate Christmas with Carl, now that traditional notions of the holiday are gone? They probably aren’t able to pin down an exact date for when the annual visit from the jolly old man in red would occur.
While we know Carl can’t possibly still believe in Santa Claus, we do like to think the survivors, who have become a family of their own, would celebrate the fact that they have one another.
So what would happen if the survivors from The Walking Dead did celebrate Christmas this year? Jawiin decided to find out.
Glenn finds a sad, Charlie Brown-like Christmas tree, and Daryl braves the walkers outside of the prison to search for a Christmas ham (though we think they’d more likely have deer or possum for their holiday feast).
Now that Daryl and Merle are reunited, they can finally enjoy some quality time together for the holidays. Daryl presents his older brother with a new hand, and a six-pack of beer.
It also looks like we’ve discovered why the Governor is so upset – he wants in on Rick’s Secret Santa exchange!
In this Walking Dead parody, Rick also gets a mysterious phone call, and the Governor cries (with one eye), “This has been the worst Christmas ever.”
