It looks like Rebekah will be back on The Vampire Diaries, but how will she react to Klaus? See what Joseph Morgan has to say about it!
At the end of The Vampire Diaries‘ mid-season finale “O Come, All Ye Faithful,” April (who now knows about vampires and werewolves) found Rebekah’s body in the tomb, and from the promo for the next episode we can see that the Original vampire will be undaggered when the show returns in January with “After School Special.”
Speaking to Zap2It, Morgan says that while he’d “like to think” that Klaus and Rebekah could be close again, “obviously there was a major betrayal there,” he says. “But I think that if anyone could forgive Klaus, Rebekah has been there with him for a thousand years, they’ve been very close, and I think she could forgive him.”
Morgan also says that he likes working with Claire Holt, and so, “I don’t like when she’s daggered! Claire just goes back to Los Angeles when Rebekah is daggered, and that’s no fun.”
We can’t wait to see Rebekah return! Julie Plec has warned that she’ll be seeking out Stefan for revenge, and that should be interesting.
The Vampire Diaries returns January 17 with “After School Special,” which will air at 8/7c on The CW.
