Yes, it is currently 193 days before the midnight showing of The Dark Knight Rises (but who’s counting?), but that won’t stop local theaters from looking forward to what is sure to be the most sold out night in history.

Theaters in New York, Los Angeles and San Francisco are reportedly selling tickets to their midnight showings of the latest installment of the Dark Knight legend on ticket selling website Fandango. According to a user who scored tickets (pictured above), the Lincoln Square 13 theater in NYC has already sold out. This boads well for the bat, who set records in 2008 when The Dark Knight hit theaters.
What do you think? Are you expecting The Dark Knight Rises to shatter records this Summer?
