Fans of Netflix’s The Crown don’t have much longer to go before season 4 finally hits Netflix. But if you just can’t wait to get a taste of what’s to come, then you’re in luck.
On Tuesday (October 13), Netflix officially unveiled a brand new teaser for the series highly anticipated return, teasing what could perhaps be the most dramatic season of the biographical series to date.
Season 4 brings with it the much anticipated introduction to the future Princess Diana (played in the series by Emma Corrin)— a figure that’s heavily featured over the course of the new footage, which puts an extra emphasis on the romance between the young Lady Spencer and Prince Charles (Josh O’Connor).
As those familiar with the history know all too well, despite the couple’s picture perfect fairytale wedding, the royal romance between Prince Charles and Princess Diana was not without its dark sides.
