The Catch, season 1, episode 3, “The Trial” promises to reveal a disturbing truth about our favorite con man, Ben. What else could he be hiding?
It looks like Alice is going to go digging for more clues about her former flame on the newest episode of The Catch. I’m sure she will dig up something extremely useful with her investigative prowess, but could it be the ever present Agent Jules Dao that divulges Ben’s real secret?
For some reason this guy can not take a hint, and is doing everything he can to get a jersey from the AVI team. It seemed like he had finally gotten enough of Alice’s evasion in The Catch, season 1, episode 2, but the trailer for this week’s episode shows us that he is hanging around just as creepily as ever.
At least this time, he is offering some valuable information. The question is: what is it? He’s branding it as “the whole truth about Christopher Hall,” so what could he tell Alice that could shake her even more than she has been already?
So far, we really have no idea who Ben actually is. We know who he pretended to be with Alice, who he is pretending to be with his next victim, the princess, and even who he pretends to be with Margot. It will be nice to finally have some sort of information to answer all our questions about him, for better or worse!
I’m guessing murder will have to be involved, since it’s supposed to be so much worse than what he has already done to Alice. Maybe we will find out that he murdered somebody that Agent Jules Dao knew and cared for and that’s why he has been so obsessively chasing him for the past two years.
How will Alice react when she gets this new information? If she finds out that he’s capable of murder, it might effect how she handles her investigation going forward, as she could be afraid for her own life. This could be the turning point in her relationship with Agent Jules Dao. If she realizes that they truly have a common enemy, she may be more willing to work with him to catch Ben.
