What is the title of The Avengers 4, the movie due out after Avengers: Infinity War? Zoe Saldana may’ve accidentally revealed it.
Speaking this week to promote Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 2 actress Zoe Saldona (who plays Gamora) may’ve unintentionally let slip the Avengers 4 title. According to the leading lady, it sounds like it’s titled — quite simply — Gauntlet.
“The Guardians just shot their part when it comes to Infinity Wars, the first part, and we all have to go back for Gauntlet later this year,” she told the BBC.
Funnily enough, Marvel mastermind Kevin Feige said this week that the title of the Infinity War sequel is still a secret because it’s a spoiler.
So how could “Gauntlet” be a spoiler? It possibly suggests that in Infinity War, Thanos comes for the stones and isn’t defeated over the course of it. And the title Gauntlet, which refers to the glove Thanos has that the stones sit in, could suggest he’s victorious during Infinity War and that he gains possession of all the stones.
