Avengers: Infinity War – Part 1 is still two years away, but Thanos actor Josh Brolin has already heard the story for the film and is teasing fans!
So far all that’s really known abut Avengers: Infinity War – Part 1 is that Thanos will serve as the main villain. The plot will revolve around the Infinity Gauntlet and the six Infinity Stones. Although the cast has yet to be announced, it’s believed that both the cast of The Avengers and The Guardians of The Galaxy will appear. It’s also been revealed that Captain Marvel will make her first appearance in the film.
Apparently Josh Brolin, who stars as the villain Thanos, already knows what’s going to happen. In an interview with Movie Fone, Brolin teased, “I sat at a table and I listened to the story from beginning to end, which was … you know, sometimes you go around and you go, ‘Oh, it’s a great movie. Or this is a great experience,’ and you kind of know that it’s not. This is the opposite.”
“It’s really fun what they’ve chosen to do with the story. I think it’s brilliant, personally,” he went on to say. “I was blown away, and had goose pimples pretty much 50% of the time that I was listening to what was going on, and pretty amazed that I’m going to be involved in it. So it’s a big thing that’s coming up.”
Of course it’s always good to hear that the cast loves the script that the writers have come up with. It’s interesting to hear that he describes it as both “fun” and says it gave him “goose pimples.” Hopefully that means there’s a healthy balance of humor and action, something the Russo Brothers seemed to have perfected.
Avengers: Infinity War – Part 1 is currently scheduled for release May 4, 2018!
