Hypable was in attendance for the Teen Wolf panel at Paleyfest L.A., and while there was no shocking announcement, there were still plenty of fun moments that everyone enjoyed.

There’s been no shortage of Teen Wolf news lately: We just found out that Tyler Hoechlin won’t be a series regular, Arden Cho teased the return of the Yukimura family, and Orny Adams announced he isn’t in season 5.

But despite all the disappearing cast members, fans got a treat last night when the cast appeared for a great panel at Paleyfest L.A. The cast in attendance included, Tyler Posey (Scott McCall), Dylan O’Brien (Stiles Stilinski) Holland Roden (Lydia Martin), Dylan Sprayberry (Liam Dunbar), Shelley Hennig (Malia Tate), Arden Cho (Kira Yukimura) and of course Jeff Davis (Executive Producer). Oh, and Crystal Reed (Allison Argent) was there, too!

Davis and the rest of the cast didn’t really explain the presence of Crystal at this year’s Paleyfest, but we’re hoping it’s a hint that maybe she’ll be returning in some capacity. They did, however give us plenty of hysterical and insightful moments we’d love to share with you. Below are just five of the best moments from Paleyfest L.A.

– Davis revealed during one of the questions that Reed was actually the first girl to audition for the role of Allison. After her when he was watching the other auditions the one thing he kept thinking was, “Not as good as Crystal.” It goes to show just how much of an impression Reed made on the show’s creator!

– When talking about the roles they were auditioning for, Roden had mentioned she looked at the character list and obviously wanted to go in for Allison. “Why would I go for Lydia?” she asked herself. And then fate happened and she was back a week later after her audition for the role of Lydia. And O’Brien was originally supposed read for Scott, but when he read the pilot he fell in love with Stiles and asked his manager to go in for that instead.

– Davis was asked what we could expect this season and he says, “A season of new mysteries. A lot of action, a lot of horror.” He went on to explain that the season is going to further explore the relationship between Scott and Stiles, and we’re going to learn new stuff about characters like Kira and Liam.

– Did you miss Eichen House? Well you won’t be missing it long, as Davis told the audience there’s an episode where Lydia and Stiles have to go back to pry some information out of one of its residents.

– During the middle of the audience Q&A portion actor Charlie Carver (Ethan) turned up by the audience to help fans ask their questions to the panel on stage. It was a very brief appearance and he disappeared shortly after, but it definitely made us smile!
