2020 Emmy Nominations announced: ‘Watchmen,’ ‘Ms. Maisel’ lead noms

Despite a global pandemic, the show must go on. Today the 2020 Emmy nominations were announced!

HBO’s comic book adaptation Watchmen scored a stellar 26 nominations, with Amazon’s Marvelous Ms. Maisel nabbing 20 noms, and HBO’s Succession and Netflix’s Ozark receiving 18 nods each.

Despite HBO being the only network with two shows in the Top 4 most nominated, it was Netflix who came away with the most nominations for a network (160). HBO came in second with 107.

Check out a complete list of 2020 Emmy nominees below. The event will be held September 20th, but with COVID-19 still running rampant in the United States, chances are the event will look much different than it has in previous years.
