The Tonight Show aired an excellent Stranger Things parody in which fan favorite character Barb finally got her time to shine.
Beware of major spoilers for Stranger Things season 1.
Did you hear the news? Netflix renewed Stranger Things for season 2! The gang will all get back together: Eleven, Mike, Jonathan, Steve, Nancy… but no Barb, because Barb is dead.
The character’s cruel demise has been a major sticking point for fans, who felt like she was punished for her appearance while Nancy got to have the more gracious manic pixie makeover storyline.

But Jimmy Fallon is here to set things right for poor Barb, who literally got no mercy whatsoever.
In a Tonight Show sketch that brings back the child actors Millie Bobby Brown (Eleven), Finn Wolfhard (Mike), Caleb McLaughlin (Lucas) and Gaten Matarazzo (Dustin), Barb returns from the Upside Down to tell the kids off about leaving her behind:
“There were two people down there, and you rescued one of them,” Barb says angrily, as the kids give (bad) excuses for why they only saved Will.
“NO FAKE CORPSE STUFFED WITH COTTON FOR BAAAARBBBB!” she screams, (accurately) pointing out that — unlike Will’s disappearance, which shook up the town — Barb’s disappearance and death had literally zero repercussions.
But luckily Barb could save herself, and traded the Demogorgon for Will. But when asked if that means she’ll return in Stranger Things season 2, she says no.
Because she’s getting her own Netflix spinoff: Orange Is the New Bitch. Hell yes.
