Let’s be honest, the struggle to find a decent amount of Rey-focused Star Wars toys and merchandise is insane.
We’re not going to make excuses for Disney and their merchandising partners — their lack of Rey merchandise is truly ridiculous. In a day and age where they were finally able to bring a strong, prominent and well-balanced female lead into our lives, they still haven’t figured out exactly how to do the whole merchandising thing right.
That’s why we put together this list — so you can return all that Kylo Ren crap you got for Christmas and bring home more items featuring the real star of The Force Awakens, Rey.
While the masses line up and demand more Rey merchandise we thought we’d take this moment to introduce you to all the awesome Rey merchandise you can get. And if you’ve received any awesome Rey-centered stuff this year that’s not listed here, then feel free to let us know in the comments!
All of these great Rey items are available on Amazon.
With Funko’s Pop! Vinyl figures becoming all the rage lately, this had to be at the top of our list. These cute figurines are available for almost every character in Star Wars: The Force Awakens and Rey’s character in particular is extra adorable.
Bonus: There’s a Hot Topic exclusive Pop! Vinyl of Rey, but in her Jakku scavenger outfit, available here. We’d obviously recommend getting both.
The itty bitty Hallmark collection is something we’ve just discovered as we went on a search for Rey themed merchandise, and we absolutely had to include it. This is an adorable, tiny plush version of our favorite Star Wars heroine, so you’re bound to be cuddling with this thing! While we wish they also offered a non-Jakku version of her, we’re perfectly content snuggling next to those adorable goggles.
This die-cast action figure is one that all collectors must have if they truly want to complete their collection of awesome Rey memorabilia. Paired with BB-8 while they were on Jakku, this set also includes a ton of extras like a blaster, a backpack and her ever-so-awesome staff.
When we meet Rey she’s transporting herself using this awesome speeder bike, and now you can transport her toy figure around in it as well! This set also includes a Rey figurine and staff, but unlike others, this one can project a missile! Apparently that’s a feature we never got to see in the movie, but one we’re sure you or your kids will make use of frequently.
What’s a costume without the proper accessories? This epic staff is a replica of the one Rey wields in the movie.
It measures at around four feet wide so you’re sure to get some serious use out of it, especially if you happen to know how to fight with one.
Careful, though, because if you’re an adult hoping to wield this at your next Halloween party you should be aware that because of its four foot length it generally measures very small against normal sized adults.
You’re probably better off giving this one to your kids or your vertically challenged acquaintances, but hopefully that child knows how to wield a staff properly so this isn’t just for looks.
Speaking of vertically challenged, this child’s sized Rey costume is the perfect answer for all small adults who want to pretend to be the famous scavenger.
Although vertically challenged adults beware, this costume is designed for children 39 to 45 inches tall, weighing 38 to 42 pounds. Yeah, that’s real tiny.
So while we may fit most kid’s sized items, this particular costume is definitely for the actual kids, and not the kids at heart. At any rate, it’s a great gift for those just coming in to their Jedi powers and learning about the force.
Sorry, adults — but hey, this is the small size, so while you’re on Amazon check out if maybe the XXXXL will fit you!
And of course we have something for you big video game fans! Disney Infinity has become popular nowadays, and they have wasted absolutely no time getting out characters for Star Wars: The Force Awakens. This set not only includes Rey but also her new friend Finn, which you can let a friend play while you roam around the Toy Box with your epic staff powers.
Alright, this has to be one of if not the best piece of merchandise on this list. As huge Lego fans we had to include this epic building kit of Rey’s speed bike. Build this awesome ride which comes with a rotatable engine and slide for your Rey lego figure to slide down your couch arms as she collects junk from old ships.
Don’t let the fact that this is a girl’s shirt deter you, gentlemen. You best bet I’ve already purchased mine, and I’m a 25-year-old man! This awesome shirt gives off distinct 80s vibes, and we’re loving it.
There are too many shirts with the entire cast or just Kylo Ren or just Han and Chewwie, and not enough of Rey. So get this shirt while you can and represent your love for Rey — no matter what gender you are!
