We’re surprised this slipped by our ever vigilant watch, but it appears that The Amazing Spider-Man has pulled a Dark Knight on us.
You may remember the ridiculous nonsense that the advertising department of Warner Brothers put nerds through back in 2008 with their Dark Knight viral campaign, but there is no doubt that it worked. In a well-spotted frame from a CBM user, it seems that Sony has slipped the phrase “mark of the spider-man” into our subconscious.
Visit markofthespider-man.com and you’ll find that this is no mistake. On the website are six blurry stacic-y screens along with, guess what, the mark of the Spider-Man. Nothing has debuted there yet, but the moment something becomes available, you can bet that it’ll be up on Hypable.
