Sleepy Hollow fans know Lyndie Greenwood as Jenny Mills, and we were able to talk to the actress to learn more about her character and what we can expect this season.
Sleepy Hollow is nearing the end of its third season so we thought we’d ask Lyndie Greenwood some questions to learn more about her character and what we might expect of Jenny Mills during these last few episodes.
Here’s a clip from last week’s episode where she and Joe discuss their future together.
Check out what she had to say about her relationships with Abbie, Ichabod and Joe in our exclusive interview!
How would you say Jenny has changed from season 1? Other than the obvious partnership with her sister, has she changed mentally, emotionally? Is she more or less guarded now that she has a family to rely on?
Jenny has definitely become less guarded since the first season. She’s become more comfortable with her sister and Crane, and is learning how to have a healthy romantic relationship with Joe (or at least she’s trying). But, old habits die hard, and when it comes to strangers and new people, she still keeps her old ways.
Do you think that their dad being a part of their life is going to change the dynamic between Abbie and Jenny?
I think it might, yes. The sisters have only had each other as far as family for most of their lives. It’ll be interesting to see how, and if, they get this new relationship to fit.
Is Jenny’s role in saving the world from the apocalypse is bigger than we think?
I don’t think we’ve seen all that Jenny is capable of, if that’s what you mean. There’s definitely more up her sleeve.
Jenny and Joe is a romance I think we all want to see move forward. What can you tell us about how Jenny really feels about him? Does he have a chance? Or is she worried he’ll be put in danger because of her life?
I think he does have a chance, because Jenny genuinely cares about him. But because she cares, she is definitely worried about the dangers of her life having an impact on him. She’s never let anyone get this close before. We’ll have to see if she sees it through.
Can we expect any episode in the future that will focus more so on Jenny and Abbie’s relationship rather than Abbie and Ichabod’s?
I love the Abbie and Jenny relationship story lines. I can’t say there are any specific episodes that will focus solely on the Sisters Mills, but there are lovely scenes in every episode this season that showcase their relationship.
If you could pick any character in the show for Jenny to go on an adventure with for the entirety of an episode, which character would you choose?
Unfortunately he died in the last episode, so I guess it won’t happen, but I would have to choose Randall Martin (played by Anthony K Hyatt). He was such an interesting glimpse into Jenny’s past, and was just a really cool character in his own right.
What can you tell us about what’s next for Jenny this season? More adventures with Joe or is she going to be dealing with more family responsibilities?
All of that! There’s a lot to do in the Hollow.
What can you say about Jenny and Ichabod’s relationship? Are they more friends, acquaintances or are they more fighting for Abbie’s attention and time?
Jenny and Ichabod are definitely friends. They have a bond beyond Abbie at this point. They understand each other as warriors and outsiders, and they have a mutual respect.
What are you looking forward to most for fans to see this season?
The last two episodes of the season are absolutely completely insane, and I can’t wait for people to see them.
What’s next for you? Any developing projects or plans for the next year?
I’ve got a movie premiering at the Vail Film Festival in April called Cut to the Chase. I’m excited to drive out there, hang with the awesome crew, and hopefully get some skiing in. After that, my boyfriend and I are going to be professional drifters for a while, and drive around the country.
