Ben Folds Five – The Sound of the Life of the Mind Out
Ben Folds Five is back with its first album since 1999’s The Unauthorized Biography of Reinhold Messner. The band will hit the road to promote the new album in the U.S. and Canada starting Sept. 13 through Oct. 15 before heading to Australia and the U.K. in November. Carly Rae Jepsen – Kiss
Carly Rae Jepsen’s U.S. debut album, Kiss, which is Justin Bieber-approved, will include hits “Call Me Maybe” and “Good Time” (a duet with Owl City). The queen of the summer 2012 charts will promote her second studio album on tour with the Biebs starting Sept. 29.
Pink – The Truth About Love
Pink, who is now a wife and mother, will reveal The Truth About Love in her sixth studio album. But a baby hasn’t changed the pop rocker’s cheeky attitude. The Killers – Battle Born
The Killers will follow up 2008’s Day & Age with their fourth studio album, Battle Born, which is also the name of the band’s Las Vegas recording studio. “In a sense, all Americans are battle born. Our ancestors came here for something better,” Frontman Brandon Flowers told Rolling Stone about the album title. Listen to “Runaways” below.

Green Day – ¡Uno!
Part ¡Uno! of Green Day’s upcoming “punchier, more power-pop” album trilogy makes its debut this month. ¡Dos! is due Nov. 13 and ¡Tre! is set for Jan. 15, 2013. The band has also partnered with the makers of Angry Birds for a Green Day episode in the Facebook game.
Mumford and Sons – Babel
The U.K. folk rockers aren’t fixing what ain’t broke in the follow-up to their 2009 debut album, Sigh No More. Written while on tour, Mumford and Sons are sticking to what they know in Babel. “The ingredients are very much the same: the four core instruments and a lack of a drummer, which can give it that strange, simple, unique sort of sound,” bassist Ted Dwane told Rolling Stone. No Doubt – Push and Shove
No Doubt has reunited for its first album since 2001 – Push and Shove. The band is returning to its roots – a mix of ’80s rock, reggae and ska – in the new album that took nearly five years to put together. Listen to “Settle Down” below.
