Delux Digital Cinema has confirmed that fans of The Hunger Games won’t have to do much more waiting for a second teaser trailer for Mockingjay – Part 1 to pop up. In fact, the website has confirmed that the second teaser will be 59 seconds long and is set to run before Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, which hits theaters this Thursday, July 10.

Fans of Suzanne Collins’ series, however, won’t necessarily have to worry about rushing out to see Apes to get a first look at new footage of the upcoming film. Along with revealing that the second teaser would make its theatrical debut on July 10, Delux Digital Cinema also revealed that there is a great possibility that the trailer will premiere online on Thursday July 10 as well. If this were to happen, it is speculated that the second trailer will pop up sometime this Thursday on the official Hunger Games YouTube channel, which also premiered the first teaser featuring Peeta (Josh Hutcherson) and President Snow (Donald Sutherland).

So what can fans expect from the second teaser trailer for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1? Sadly, there aren’t many more details other than when the teaser will make its debut, but if we had to guess, we wouldn’t be surprised if this second teaser featured a bit more Katniss. Perhaps we’ll see a rebuttal of sorts from our bow and arrow wielding heroine in response to President Snow’s message of propaganda.
