Ryan Murphy has posted the “super-sized” main title sequence on his YouTube page today.
The main title sequence features all of the main cast of characters including Emma Roberts, Lea Michele, Glen Powell and Abigail Breslin just to name a few. Interestingly, the sequence shows a balance of the horror/comedy genre, showing each character screaming in terror, but then also giving a quick smile or wink directly to the camera. Fans are expecting that Scream Queens will be somewhere between Glee and American Horror Story in terms of the genre.
Notably absent from the sequence are Jamie Lee Curtis (though she is given a text credit), Nick Jonas and Ariana Grande. These characters are meant to be supporting roles rather than featured recurring cast members like the others.
Nick Jonas recently noted that there will be a lot of surprises when Scream Queens premieres later this month saying, “I think just be ready to be surprised.”
The Scream Queens YouTube page has been populating with all kinds of goodies for fans as well with trailers and character profiles among other things.
Scream Queens will feature a two hour series premiere on Tuesday, September 22 at 8/7c on Fox.
Are you excited to tune in to Scream Queens when it premieres later this month?
