Sarah Michelle Gellar has been playing the nostalgia game (who hasn’t?), and shared cute pictures of her Buffy and Cruel Intentions cast reunions.
90s icon Sarah Michelle Gellar hasn’t forgotten her roots, despite having a very active and interesting career (most recently, she starred in The Crazy Ones and lent her voice to Robot Chicken).
Earlier this month, fans of Buffy the Vampire Slayer were elated when the actress reunited with her co-star Alyson Hannigan not once, but twice:
I had a lovely time with @SarahMGellar when I ran into her at Michaels today. Our mutual love of crafting would make Willow happy I think.

The pair of course played Buffy and Willow in Joss Whedon’s iconic series Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and were the first and second billed cast member respectively.
It is therefore extra nice to see the two of them get together so many years later, clearly on good terms!

Gellar also met up with Danny Strong, whose recurring character Jonathan appeared in six out of seven seasons:

Now, Strong moonlights as a screenwriter, and you might recognize his name from a couple of little films called The Hunger Games – Mockingjay, Parts 1 and 2. He also currently writes for Empire.
Staying on the topic of Buffy, the series finale had its 12-year anniversary earlier this month. Gellar chose to honor the show with a few choice quotes that made us all tingly (not least because it shows that she still cares!):

And finally, we were treated to these great shots of the Cruel Intentions (1999) cast, who reunited to attend the Cruel Intentions Musical:

Cruel Intentions starred Gellar, Reese Witherspoon, Selma Blair, and Ryan Phillippe.
