Roswell, New Mexico is expanding its TVD and The Originals presence once again, as David Anders is added to the cast for season 2.
TV Guide is reporting that the actor, who TVD fans will remember as Uncle John Gilbert, will be guest starring in the second season of Roswell, New Mexico. The show already includes TVD and The Originals alum Michael Trevino (Tyler Lockwood/Kyle Valenti) and Riley Voelkel (Freya Mikaelson/Jenna Cameron). Kayla Ewell (Vicki Donovan) has also guest starred as Michael Guerin’s mother.
David Anders will be playing Travis, who is “a bespoke bootmaker, banjo player, and bovine enthusiast, who offers Alex and Maria some help when their car breaks down, miles from civilization.” With that description, we’re equally excited to see the kooky characters that David Anders brings to the screen as we are for the Alex and Maria heavy episode of Roswell, New Mexico that it promises! Why not throw Guerin into the car, too?
