Ron Howard is already hard at work on the upcoming Star Wars Han Solo movie and he’s got the set pictures to prove it!
Howard, who took over directing duties from Chris Miller and Phil Lord after both were fired from the film, took to Twitter on Thursday (June 29) to share a photo from his first day on set.
Unfortunately for fans hoping to catch a good glimpse of the action, Howard knows better than to give any major spoilers away. In fact, the photo is simply a shot of his feet, some cables, and a half empty case of water bottles.
While the photo might not be much to look at, Howard assured fans that he took it while working on a pretty cool scene in the film.
“Cool scene today but I’m afraid this is the most revealing image I dare share from my 1st day on the set of the Untitled Han Solo movie,” wrote the director along with the photo.

Though Howard has helmed some major films in his day, the nature of his hiring is still cause for concern to fans who’ve been closely following production on the Star Wars Han Solo movie.
Howard’s involvement with the project was announced just days after fans learned that Lord and Miller’s vision for the film clashed so hard with that of Lucasfilm, they ended up letting both directors go.
With just three weeks left of principle photography, it’ll be interesting to see how the entire movie ends up turning out— especially since Howard has been tapped to step in so late in the game.
We’re sure we’re not the only Star Wars fans who’ll be anxiously waiting to see how the movie turns out!
The untitled Star Wars Han Solo film is set to hit theaters on May 25, 2018.
