The late Robin Williams was a busy man right up until his tragic death last August. His final film, Boulevard, will be hitting theaters next month.
Williams plays a closeted gay man who’s living a boring and unfulfilling life with his wife when he comes across a male prostitute who he begins to pay for companionship. The new friendship makes Williams’ character rethink his path. Boulevard first premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival last year and is finally getting a theatrical release thanks to Starz Digital.

Boulevard’s trailer makes the film look very emotional — and not only because we’re reminded that the beloved Williams is gone.
Boulevard, opening in theaters July 17, co-stars Bob Odenkirk (Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul), Kathy Baker (Edward Scissorhands), Giles Matthey (True Blood, 24: Live Another Day), Roberto Aguire (Struck By Lightning), and J. Karen Thomas (Drop Dead Diva, Nashville).
Williams will be present in one more film after Boulevard: A movie called Absolutely Anything starring Simon Pegg and scheduled to hit theaters next May. Williams voices a character named Dennis.
The actor had three roles in 2014: Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb, A Merry Friggin’ Christmas, and The Angriest Man in Brooklyn. In addition, between 2013 and 2014 he co-starred in the CBS comedy The Crazy Ones opposite Sarah Michelle Gellar.
