Radioactive stars Rosamund Pike as famed scientist Marie Curie, who developed the theory of radioactivity and became the first woman ever to win the Nobel Prize.
Marie Curie is one of the most impressive scientists in history, with her discoveries and research forever impacting and changing the way we tackle cancer and giving us the invention of the x-ray machine.
She was not only the the first woman to receive a Nobel Prize, but the first scientist to win two Nobel Prizes, and the very first person to win the famed prize in two different fields — Chemistry and Physics.
Now, we get to see her struggle and surmount obstacles in the field of science on the big screen, with Radioactive starring Rosamund Pike.
Based on Lauren Redniss’ graphic novel of the same name, Radioactive is directed by Marjane Satrapi (Persepolis) from a screenplay written by Jack Thorne (Wonder, His Dark Materials) and will follow Marie Curie through the ups and downs of her personal and professional life.

Radioactive stars Rosamund Pike (Gone Girl, Pride and Prejudice) as scientist Marie Curie, with Sam Riley (Maleficent, Control) as her husband and fellow scientist Pierre Curie, and Anya Taylor-Joy (Emma, New Mutants) as Irene Curie.
Joining the three stars will be Cara Bossom, Aneurin Barnard, Simon Russell Beale, Tim Woodward, Jonathan Aris, Mirjam Novak, and Michael Gould.
Radioactive had its world premiere last year at the Toronto International Film Festival, and will be released for general audiences on March 20.
