A slew of character posters for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 2 depict the lead characters of the series donning war paint ahead of their big battle.
The eight posters show a character from Mockingjay, Part 2 who will be going up against President Snow (Donald Sutherland) this November. Each of them has the iconic Mockingjay symbol painted on their face — a symbol that has been a constant presence throughout the series and now is reflected on each of the characters. So cool!
Take a look at the posters below.
Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence):

Peeta (Josh Hutcherson):

Johanna (Jena Malone):

Cressida (Natalie Dormer):

Gale (Liam Hemsworth):

Which ‘Mockingjay, Part 2’ poster is your favorite?
We love the intimacy of each of the posters — being up close and personal with each character’s war-torn face gives us chills. Each of them has a bit of fear in their eyes as they look ahead towards the battle against President Snow.
The posters look like they belong in Panem. Each of them calls for a different group of people to unite. “Brothers unite,” “sons unite,” “soldiers unite.” “The Revolution is about all of us,” the posters read.
The new posters arrive just a few days before Mockingjay, Part 2 is expected to have a huge presence at San Diego Comic-Con. We bet these posters will be handed out at Lionsgate’s booth on the show floor. We also bet some fans of the series will feel inspired by these posters and paint the Mockingjay logo on their own faces.
Last month Hypable and other websites received an amazing promotional package from Lionsgate: A piece of President Snow’s shattered throne and a black Mockingjay pin! Just like these posters, the box it all came in included a graffiti’d Mockingjay logo.
Mockingjay, Part 2 opens in theaters this November.
