Mandy Patinkin is heading to Hulu for his next project.
According to TV Line, Homeland vet Mandy Patinkin has officially signed on to star in an all new murder mystery series coming down the pipeline at Hulu.
Titled Career Opportunities in Murder and Mayhem, the forthcoming series hails from Mike Weiss and Heidi Cole McAdams, who previously teamed together to pen ABC’s short-lived crime drama, Stumptown.
Per the series’ official synopsis, Career Opportunities in Murder and Mayhem centers on Rufus Cotesworth— a man who has been dubbed ‘The World’s Once Greatest Detective.’
While sailing across the Mediterranean aboard an ocean liner, Cotesworth suddenly finds himself tasked with solving a murder mystery.
The liner might be packed with passengers both powerful and wealthy, but it soon becomes clear that everyone’s a suspect, and everyone’s got something to hide.
For his part, Mandy Patinkin will take on the role of detective Rufus Cotesworth. Set to star opposite the Emmy Award winning actor is Violette Beane, who will play Rufus’ protege Imogene.
The cast also includes actors Lauren Patten. Hugo Diego Garcia, Angela Zhou, and Rahul Kohli.
Currently, there’s no word on when we might expect to see Career Opportunities in Murder and Mayhem debut via Hulu.
