Pop senstation Kelly Clarkson has announced she will debut a Christmas album this October.

The album will include well-known holiday classics like “Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas,” “Run Run Rudolph,” “Please Come Home For Christmas” and “Blue Christmas.”
In addition, Clarkson will unveil several new Christmas songs including “Underneath the Christmas Tree” which will be the first single off of Wrapped in Red.
In recent months the singer has also confirmed she is hard at work on her seventh studio album which is due for release in 2014.
Her newest single is “Tie It Up” which was released on country music stations across the United States in June. It wasn’t a part of an album.
Last week we told you that the cast of Pitch Perfect are working on a holiday album of their own in which, like the movie, the songs will all be performed a cappella.
Expect to hear Clarkson’s new Christmas songs and covers all over your radio dial later this year.
