Kathryn Hahn will soon be bringing the legendary Joan Rivers to life in an all new series coming down the pipeline at Showtime.
Fresh off her scene-stealing role as Agatha in WandaVision, Kathryn Hahn has just booked her next series starring role.
According to Deadline, the Emmy Award nominated actress has officially signed on to star as Joan Rivers in an all new limited series coming down the pipeline at Showtime.
Titled The Comeback Girl, the forthcoming series hails from Cosmo Carlson, who will serve as writer and executive producer.

Per the series’ official logline, the series aims to tell the “awe-inspiring untold story of how Joan Rivers persevered through near suicide and professional abyss to rebuild herself and her career to become a global icon.”
Rivers, who passed away at the age of 81 in September 2014 spent 50 years in show business, where she was likely best known for her audacious, often cruel, red carpet commentary.
In addition to starring as the famed television icon, Kathryn Hahn will also sere as executive producer on The Comeback Girl alongside Greg Berlanti.
Currently, there’s no word on when we might expect to see The Comeback Girl debut via Showtime.
