Joss Whedon’s organization Save the Day is bringing in former collaborators Scarlett Johansson, Robert Downey Jr. and Neil Patrick Harris to encourage people to vote for Hillary Clinton.

This isn’t the mystery Joss Whedon project we’ve been waiting for, but it’s pretty great regardless: Joss Whedon, in an effort to combat the rise of Trump, has founded the pro-Hillary Clinton super PAC Save the Day, which will produce a number of pro-Hillary Clinton comedy videos. He has also returned to Twitter @joss.

The Hollywood Reporter notes that these videos are specifically aimed at left-leaning groups who are likely to vote for Clinton, including millennials, black voters, and women. The project has been in the works for a long time, and Whedon has even put his current project on hold in order to focus on what will be 15-25 videos total.

Marvel stars Mark Ruffalo, Scarlett Johansson, Robert Downey Jr., Cobie Smulders, Clark Gregg, and Don Cheadle are among the stars who will be appearing in the videos, along with Nathan Fillion and Neil Patrick Harris — the latter of whom Whedon famously collaborated with on Doctor Horrible (and that one episode of Glee) — and many others including Jesse Williams, Keegan-Michael Key, Julianne Moore, and Stanley Tucci.

Whedon notes that this should not be construed as an attack on Trump, as the GOP nominee is “real good at attacking himself.” Rather, “it’s about getting people to vote, because it’s frightening the apathy that people are treating the most crucial election of their lifetimes with.”

Why this approach? Simple strategy. “Seeing somebody famous makes people stop,” Whedon explains. “Seeing something funny makes people stop. Seeing something with emotion makes people stop. Those are the ways you can get to people.”

You can’t deny that he’s right. After all, isn’t that why Trump is plowing ahead in the first place?

Here’s the first video, “Important,” featuring lots of people you know:

IT’S ANDREW FROM BUFFY YOU GUYS! Okay, fangirl moment over. Back to important political statements, like the promise that Mark Ruffalo will do a nu– hang on a second.
