The Jonas Brothers will perform together for the first time in three years at New York City’s Radio City Music Hall Oct. 11.
The brothers haven’t released an album together since 2009’s Lines, Vines and Trying Times but have been back in studio working on an album expected next year.
“Over the last three years, we’ve all had life changing experiences — both individually and as a group,” Nick Jonas said in a press release. “Those experiences allowed us to create new music that we are really proud of and excited to share with our fans.”
The brothers shared some details about the upcoming concert with Ryan Seacrest Friday..
“I think the main thing to expect from this show is a show that’s all about the music, and we want the production of a show, the bells and whistles, to really be in the music and being creative with how we can sort of remix our older music for our fans,” Nick told Seacrest. “But also, introduce this new music in a new and creative way, while still having a great light show, great stage set-up, everything. It’s going to be a celebration to be back on the stage together and kind of a party with our fans!”
The trio may not have released music together for some time, but they’ve kept busy. Nick Jonas stepped into the shoes of J. Pierrepont Finch in Broadway’s How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying. Joe Jonas launched his solo career and has been working on the CW’s new music competition, The Next, alongside Nelly, Gloria Estefan and John Rich, while Kevin Jonas is shooting a reality show with his wife, dubbed Married to Jonas (Aug. 19), for E!.
Tickets for the one-night-only show go on sale Aug. 24 at 10 a.m. ET. Are you excited for new JoBros music next year?
