Looks like Ian McShane is returning for John Wick 4.
Update (7/14/21): Deadline reports that actor Ian McShane has officially signed on to reprise his role as Winston for Lionsgate’s John Wick 4.
For those who need a bit of a refresher, Winston is the owner of the New York Continental Hotel— a neutral territory establishment for hired hitmen.
McShane has portrayed the character in all three of the previous installments of the hit action franchise, so we’re sure fans will be happy to know that the actor is on board to return to star opposite Keanu Reeves for the fourth.
Also on board to return for Chapter 4 is director Chad Stahelski, who spoke of how thrilled he is to welcome McShane back for the fourth movie.
“I couldn’t be happier than to welcome Ian McShane back to John Wick: Chapter 4,” said Stahelski according to Deadline. “He is not only an amazing actor but is an indispensable collaborator who has helped define the world of John Wick.”
News of Ian McShane signing on to return for the fourth movie comes on the heels of word that Dusk Till Dawn vet Marko Zaror has also joined the cast.
