If you’ve seen Teen Wolf season 3, episode 19, “Letharia Vulpina,” you know that Peter just found out something fairly surprising about his past. Spoilers ahead.
Okay, “fairly surprising” may be an understatement. In last night’s episode, Lydia revealed to Peter that he isn’t “just an uncle.” He is, in fact, also a father. This is the memory that Talia, his sister, stole from him when he was younger.
Lydia and Allison did some digging and are certain that Malia, the werecoyote we met in season 3, episode 13, is the one to be Peter’s child, and although the events of “Letharia Vulpina” aren’t to be swept under the rug, everyone is talking about what this could mean and even if Malia is definitely Peter’s daughter.
In an interview with E! Online, the actor who plays Peter, Ian Bohen, talks about how Peter will be reacting to the news.
“He’s going to use the revelation to ultimately get what he wants. It’s going to be a tool for him,” Bohen tells E! Online. Well, it wouldn’t be Uncle Peter if he didn’t use every scrap of new information to his advantage, even if that new scrap happens to be his own kid.
That might sound a bit crass, but the Teen Wolf writers have apparently told Bohen to just “accept” that Peter is a bad guy. In fact, Talia took the memory from her brother “because she didn’t want him to corrupt the child.”
Considering Peter has been ping-ponging from side to side for the better part of three seasons, we’ll feel relief once we figure out what his real agenda actually is.
But we might have to wait for that one. Bohen says that Peter will be around for Teen Wolf season 4 — which begins production today, by the way.
“It’s going to be a big deal when he finally gets together with the child,” Bohen says. Peter is so focused on becoming the Alpha again that “he doesn’t care who he hurts to get it,” which means his child, whoever that might be, better keep their guard up.
