Today, filming for The Hunger Games, the movie adaptation of Suzanne Collins’ first book in the Hunger Games Trilogy, went to the theater. While production of Capital scenes is still on-going in Charlotte, North Carolina, the exact location has shifted from the convention center location used earlier this week.
According to WCNC, production equipment was spotted outside of Knight Theater at the Blumenthal Performing Arts Center. A glimpse of the inside of this theater can be seen here.
WCNC also reports that production is expected to head to Concord, North Carolina tomorrow (Thursday).
Earlier this week, local sources spotted the crew working in Charlotte convention center, and the cast and crew were reportedly working on chariot ride scenes involving “Katniss” (Jennifer Lawrence), “Peeta” (Josh Hutcherson), “Cinna” (Lenny Kravitz), and “Haymitch” (Woody Harrelson).
No word yet on which exact castmembers were involved in today’s shoot at Knight Theater.
