Jennifer Lawrence is truly one busy woman. As Deadline is reporting that The Hunger Games star is the frontrunner for a role in the exciting new project The Silver Linings Playbook, opposite Mark Wahlberg as he re-teams with The Fighter director David O. Russell. For more information on the project, read on.
The Silver Linings Playbook is based on a novel by Michael Quick, and follows the story of a former high school teacher (Wahlberg) who has been released from an institution for depression into the care of his mother. He then procedes to attempt to win back his ex-wife, but gets involved with his eccentric neighbor, who would be played by Lawrence.
The project sounds very interesting, to say the least, and should she get the part, Lawrence would presumably film the role during a break between the first two Hunger Games films. Do you think this would be a smart next choice for Lawrence? Regardless, we’ll be sure to have any new details for you right here.
