Lana Condor is heading to Hulu for her next starring role!
According to THR, actress Lana Condor has officially signed on to star in an all new series titled Take Out coming down the pipeline at Hulu.
Described as an action comedy, Take Out will find Condor taking on the role of Iris— a young woman struggling to find a balance between her personal life and her job at a restaurant. The task is made all the more difficult given the fact that she’s also in the process of carrying out a secret mission to destroy an evil crime syndicate plotting to take over New York City.
The To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before alum isn’t the only notable name attached to the forthcoming Hulu original.
Behind the camera, Randall Park (Fresh off the Boat) is teaming with Michael Golamco to write the pilot for Take Out. In addition to starring in the series, Lana Condor will also serve as an executive producer on the project along with Park, Golamco and Hieu Ho.
Shortly after news of her involvement with the project broke, Condor took to Twitter to spread the word with fans far and wide.
“The project perfectly combines my favorite things,” tweeted the Deadly Class vet. “Food, action, and love and I couldn’t be more excited. Thank you for letting me live my dream!”
