Today Discovery Times Square announced that Harry Potter: The Exhibition will be returning to the New York City location!
Discovery writes, “the iconic exhibition is making its way back to North America this fall with another stop in NYC. This holiday season, experience firsthand the magic of Hogwarts™ with your loved ones during the most special time of the year. Marvel at over 200 authentic props and costumes from the Harry Potter films, including some newly added never-before-seen artifacts from the epic series finale!
Items like “Harry’s original wand and eyeglasses, the Marauder’s Map, Gryffindor school uniforms as well as costumes worn at the Yule Ball” will all be on display. “Enter the Quidditch area and toss a Quaffle, pull your own Mandrake in the Herbology vignette, encounter Buckbeak the Hippogriff and even a giant Acromantula spider.”
Harry Potter: The Exhibition has been through Chicago, Boston, Toronto, Seattle, New York City, Sydney, and Singapore since its initial opening in 2009. It’s currently in Singapore and will remain there until September 30. We presume the New York City return will take place in late October or November.
